Kayak Rental Guidelines

• Must be 18 years of age or older to rent a kayak.
• Driver’s licenses / state issued ID will be required prior to renting the kayak. PARD will take a photo copy of ID to keep with rental agreement.
• Anyone 17 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and cannot rent a kayak for themselves.
• All rental and deposit fees will be collected up front.
• Rentals are first come, first serve.
• Inspect the kayak and equipment before using the kayak and notify staff of any issues.
• Participants are financially responsible for injuries and lost or damaged equipment.
• Each person must wear a life jacket while using the kayak. Life jackets are provided at no additional charge for each person in the group that is renting the kayak(s).
• Please use caution during bad weather, and use common sense at all times.
